It is setting the bar a bit high for them.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

You can say the concept of a god exists, as does the concept of anything we could possibly imagine. But there's no requirement that concepts map to anything real.

Defining what is real is a tricky business. In some ways, perception is reality, so to someone who believes the thing is real, it is real. The person will likely attribute various events to that imaginary being, and so to them, those events were really caused by that real being.

But if "what is real" is considered to be the "objective reality" that we all seem to share, then no, it's not real.

None of us actually experience reality, we live in the simulated interpretation our brains produce, based on an objective reality. Or possibly based on nothing at all; it's impossible to say which.

My vote is on the Matrix, and I want to take this opportunity to welcome our alien overlords.

And then once we die in the Matrix we realize we're in a double Matrix.
Which is better:
To die with ignorance, or to live with intelligence?

Truth doesn't accommodate to personal opinions.
The choice is yours.

There is God and there is man, it's only a matter of who created whom

The more questions you ask, the more you realize that disagreement is inevitable, and communication of this disagreement, irrelevant.

I tried to explain this idea to my wife, that we live in our own simulated version of reality. I got a glassy stare.

Me: "Have you ever thought about that before?"

Mrs Robvalue: "No, and I don't care either."

Fair enough.

It was a thought experiment, I didn't have purpose to it, just wanted to see what people'd make outta it.
