I notice there were no pleas of respecting the victims and taking time to be sad when PP was shot up, the discussion just moved right to the abortion issue. Hmmmm.

I think that the political exploitation of these tragedies is a total distraction from the actual cause of crime in the United States. They aren't a significant part of the overall murder rate, but that almost never gets talked about. I think the people who yell about this and ignore violent crime else where are the ones really being apathetic. Of course if you did talk about the overall murder rate, you'd have to mention that it is very close to historic lows.

Hmmmm. I hope this isn't referencing me. My post/thread about the PP shooter specifically referenced the victims, addressed how awful and sad it was, and clarified that I condemn the attack. It was a post meant to unite us, not to be political. It did take a turn into the abortion discussion, but that was definitely not my purpose for the thread.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Hmmmm. I would have said @CL if I meant it just for you. I was just noting a fact. Again, 'Murrica. How Many More
