The GOP top 3 are all people the party mainliners hate.

Trump, Cruz, and Carson.

Any of the three. Please, FSM, any of the three!
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

He's not going to get banned anyway mate, even if they had a million signatures.

Oh I know. A good thing too. People are getting into a frenzy about this but i'm yet to hear a really coherent argument as to exactly why he needs to be banned aside from personal offence.

A dangerous precedent, indeed. Hell we've let in hate preachers and religious fundamentalists enough times. Why is Trump to be treated differently?

Exactly. It's just a way for a population of a country to say that Trump is a twat and to be heard saying it with one voice.

I could see something like this being applied to someone reasonable but unpopular.
Alot can be interpreted as hate speech, especially in these times.

Oh I don't think there's a hope in hell they'll actually ban him. I just want him to know how 'welcome' he is.

I also recall several mayors around the U.S. are pushing for bans against Mr. Trump as well. I hope my home town follows suite. Then again, I live in Arizona; the cesspool of the tea party.

Exactly. It's just a way for a population of a country to say that Trump is a twat and to be heard saying it with one voice.

But to be clear, many people are deadly serious about banning him, which is ludicrous.

Do you know how he'll actually interpret?
"I'm Donald Trump. Even the British people can't stop me coming to Britain because their government knows I'm the best thing for their country. They know that when Donald Trump comes to visit everyone wins. Love me or hate me I'm the best thing for our great nation. Vote Trump."
Or some variation of that. Whether or not he believes it thats how he'll spin it.

My impression is that he has a massive ego and really does believe that he is a gift to humanity. I very much doubt that he is able to comprehend that people think that he's actually a fucking idiot.
