You can't compare the muslims now to the jews 100 years ago. I have not ever heard of jews suicide bombers, or jews beheading people, or jews beating women and forcing them to cover up, or jews preaching that women are worth half a man and make the majority of those who goes to hell, or jews defending slavery and pedophilia, or jews wanting to force jewish laws on everyone.

Oh, idk, in march an isreali foreign minister called for the beheading of palestinians.  Wifebeating has a pretty solid basis in jewish tradition..women being worth -less- than half a man, as an item of property.  Covering the girls up isn't an "islamic thing" it's common to the entire region...and is absolutely present and enshrined in jewish tradition. They did write dueteronomy, and it;s instructions upon how to properly beat your slaves, and the reason that jews don;t recognize jesus as the messiah..is that he wasn't the brilliant Davidic king who crushed the world underfoot and established hebrew empire...as was promised, lol.

Meh, they might not be in the terrorist slot today (they have been - historically).....but they don't have to be, they've got their little fiefdom in the middle east..and acceptance elsewhere...and I don't know that Isreal would have the time left over to organize something like ISIS - they have enough on their hands with the day-to-day operation of their concentration camp. The group of muslims we must be discussing when we say "they brought this on themselves" can't be all muslims...it sounds like those muslims who don't (or didn't) have their fiefdom, their acceptance, their legitimacy..and have decided to take up arms in order to secure it. That must be who we're talking about....and if we can say that they brough -x- upon themselves we can absolutely compare that with groups of jews who've brought misery down on themselves for the same reasons and in the same way throughout all of written history up to and including these past hundred years. If some arab nation finally stops blustering and tries to wipe Israel off the map, for example....there are going to be plenty of "they brought it on themselves".

No surprise to me, Islamic law is largely based off of old Jewish law. Even the dietary restrictions are pretty much identical. However Islam believes everyone should and well one day be muslim. Jews don't want any more jews, and converting is difficult and uncommon. That's why Islam (not all of them!) will always try to expand as a religion.

There's a great segment in one of Karen Armstrong's books that deal with expansionism/dominionism in judeo-christian religions (like islam).  She feels, and I agree, that it was an effort by the Ummah (just to be specific to our conversation) to export it's violence to the borders and fringes, away from "civilization".  Basically, you give your worst criminals and thugs a coat of arms and tell them to rape and pillage in your name.  This has a dual effect, filling your coffers and expanding your influence, while creating peace at home through absence.  This was certainly the Indian subcontinents model of continuous westward cultural expansion during the "axial age" - culminating in the melting pot of the ANE from whence all this nonsense springs.  We continued it ourselves, seeking an unbroken band of white civilization spanning the globe, and more recently as expressed in the cadence "go to war or go to jail".

Technically this is correct to some extent, but no one has any idea to what extent.

It's been long agreed by just about everyone who's thought deeply about it (I know that's a total BS appeal to authority but I believe it's true) that one of the absolute worst things the government can do is get into the business of deciding whether someone's professed religious beliefs are sincere.  In order to ban muslims from entering the US, a determination about the sincerity of personal convictions would have to be made.

That way madness lies.

You can simply have everyone piss on the Koran.  If a person does he passes; if he won't then he doesn't.  

You can also state that if Christians can't open up churches in Mecca then no Saudis or other muslims can enter the US.

Congress includes a phrase in all laws that specifically allow for judicial review.  It could simply state that the law is not subject to judicial review and if the President signs it the court can never take a case involving it.

Really? I've never heard of that, can you link to an article which elaborates? Wouldn't that violate the entire concept of "checks and balances" that American government is built upon?

All public laws passed by Congress include a specific clause authorizing court review.  If the law doesn't include the clause the court has no jurisdiction.

A typical example:

A common example of courts having no jurisdiction is when Congress names a post office or another building after one of its buddies.  This also includes countless other examples, such as making contributions to certain cops' memorial funds tax exempt while ignoring others.  So if your favorite cop was killed while on duty you will have to get Congress to pass a special law to allow for tax exempt contributions for his family.  You can't sue for equal treatment based on previous cases.

Trump is very clever because he is in a no-lose situation.  As soon as the next incident happens he can blab about how it's the government's fault because the politicians allowed the terrorists to enter the country.  He also shows support for the Repub governors who took public positions against allowing Syrian refugees entrance into their States.  On the flip side he has cleverly gotten the bleeding hearts to go on record about supporting potential foreign agents to flood the country.  Therefore when the crap hits the fan he can legitimately claim that he would have taken steps to have prevented it while the bleeding hearts made the incidents possible.  If it happens during the primary season he will win by a landslide.
