RE: Is Hell Real?
Obeying something out of fear is cowardice.
Thats really all that needs to be said.

Hell is awful. It is like you are being burned napalm forever and ever. Evil horrible demons will stab you screech at you and rip your flesh off. You might "Hell is on giant party" or "All the cool people are in Hell."

Newsflash people! You will have no fun and no conversations in Hell. You will be too busy burning to care.

Many haughty atheists like to snigger and guffaw about Hell being real. Why would it be fake though, if so many people have been to Hell and back?

But... it's immaterial.
How do you burn something immaterial?

Besides, we'll be dead... how can a dead person perceive pain from burning?

The whole burning thing seems like an anthropomorphism to scare people who, while alive, know too well that burning hurts like hell!

Yes. It really is cruel and unjust, that some priests have to put up with discomforts and dangers of 3rd world countries and fight their way through jungles in order to rape starving brown children, while others sit around in their air-conditioned mansions, back in the civilized world and have fat white kids delivered to their doors by the parents, all but lubed up...  Undecided

Pastor Phillip told me that people who have never heard of Jesus or have no opprotunity to may have a chance of going to heaven.

However, those who hear the word and reject it are going straight to Hell.

I just realized that if we expose people to Christ, we are exposing them to a chance of Hell.

It is all really discomforting.

Jebus, your God is such a cruel shit, isn't He... I feel sorry for you if you really believe this stuff, I really do.

I just had another sad thought.

All who do not accept Jesus as Lord go to Hell, as taught in the Bible.

That means those with mental disabilities, who can barely read or think are going to Hell according to the Bible.

Never mind that their lips and tongue aren't able to accept Jesus, or spread his word. According to the Bible... they will sadly be in a "heated" situation...

Look on the bright side, TrueChristian: If Christianity is true and if Tertullian was right, one of the perks of Heaven will be the schadenfreude you and the other moral cripples who worship Yahweh will enjoy at the prospect of the damned getting theirs. Or maybe, as other Christians seem to believe, you will be afflicted with heavenly amnesia so you won't be aware of the torments of others, including your unsaved loved ones.

Or maybe you could just grow up and leave these childish fantasies behind.

Yep.  To an atheist, that's more unfairness.  Your god knows everything, it's all in his plan, and he makes no effort to convince unbelievers other than using preachers.  No scientific proof at all of his existence, at a time when it would be so very easy for him.  But no, if people don't believe what's written in the Bible, and base their lives on events that supposedly happened 2000 years ago in a geographic area smaller than Lake Michigan, they're going to fry forever.  It's so sad, all of the 6 billion + people on the planet right now who will be burning forever in hell, if the last day happens today.  But it's ok, because you're going to be up in heaven with Jesus, munching on popcorn, watching the torment and listening to the screams, knowing that you picked the RIGHT god, and all of those idiots picked the wrong one.  Good for you.
