Bowie-Can t help it. I think the guy s phenomenal.
Nina Simone-Amazing vocally and and songs evoke such raw emotion.
Joan Sebastian-Just a fun, catchy collection of songs. (Sembrador de Amor, 25 Rosas, Y las Mariposas, etc).
Jacques Brel-Amsterdam, Ne me Quitte Pas-great songs
Classical/Opera-Renaissance Era to the modern
Calvin founded a little theocracy, modeled after the Old Testament, and succeeded in erecting the most detestable government that ever existed, except the one from which it was copied.

I like Bowie quite a lot. And some Nina Simone. Mostly just "Feeling Good".

The British rock band Muse I think did an excellent rock cover of it.

And its got a freaky (but cool) video to it too (the cover I mean).

What about this song?

THink it's good song, that reminds me of summer and football! Not strange since it's on the soundtrack for Fifa 09. Allthough I like PES 09 on Wii better, and PES in general.

OK, so I was watching "The One Show" on BBC (yes I hate it or more accurately I dislike Adrian Charles, but I put up with it coz my wife watches it) and it turns out that Ultravox are making a come back.

Cynically (of course) I observed that they weren't making a good one since their original lead singer, John Foxx, departed after the third album (as I recall) and we were sadly left with the sounds of Midge Ure howling "Vienna" ... the only one with real talent was Foxx IMO:

Naturally I have one of their albums from that era (the one with the above track on it).
