Pathogen? I still can't remember.

The plural of virus is viruses, idiot.
Finally! I was looking down to see if anybody else

"Viri" is latin for "Men." And in the original Latin, "Virus" was an uncountable noun, thus having no plural.

I'm not too thrilled with any of those symptoms.

I seem to get sore throats more than any of the others so I'll go with that.

Not a post of yours goes by that I think you're trying to be annoying. Nice to feed my suspicions.

I'm tying to be funny, you only find it annoying. That is on you, my friend.

Does taking pain killers/fever reducers interfere with your body's ability to fight sickness?

Does eating also interfere with fighting sickness?

I used to take two hallucinogenic mushrooms when I first came down with a sickness. It seemed to make the sickness go away. Later on I read that Mushrooms slightly increase your core temperature so there might be some truth to it; like giving yourself a fever. A steam room is great if you are blocked up. They usually put menthol in them which will break up the phlegm in your system. Guaifenesin is good for that too and can be found seperately as an herbal remedy or added to Robotussin DM.

I don't like how sickness makes it harder to do work. I hate missing work so when I'm ill I always try to make it in.

I've had very sore throats and very bad coughs - both are very undesirable and are worse in their own way... I do stuff to prevent them happening now, I guess I'm lucky that's successful. Debilitating pain sucks. Life is good then suddenly everything is bad, and you wonder if it'll ever end, and hang in there in the hope that those pain free ideas you have aren't just a dream. So sorry you're feeling so bad Sae. Get well soon! Heart
