Joshua long day?

Who is Joshua Long and what has he done to deserve his own day? Justin Long, now that's a great guy. But Joshua? Sounds like a nobody.

Humans - being a single species - tend to crave the same simple things - safety, food, sex, and their fairy-tales reflect that, regardless of geography. And it so happens, that super-long days are a wet dream of most people, who can't function very well in darkness, while their predators - can. Not to mention that sun was necessary for growing food and long days were the ones when food was relatively plentiful, in technologically undeveloped cultures.

God sure does like screwing around. If he wants Joshua or whoever to win, he can just flick all his enemies off into space instantly. Why always with the theatrics?
