Intelligent Design

RE: Intelligent Design
To clarify, what we don't know is how our world was designed. Whether by intelligent beings, random unknown events is what is unknown. It is known, well at least to me, that our universe is designed by what events or what beings or whatever is what is not known.

The evidence for ID can never be any more convincing than the evidence for God. Otherwise, it could give merit to the God claim.
Hence, the same turds rolled in different coloured glitter.

To clarify, we don't know if our world was designed because using the word designed implies purpose and planning. The Universe could be eternal just existing in different forms.

Any system which has imposed rules can be thought of as designed. Don't you agree?
We have several rules imposed on our system. Rules such as laws of physics. What do you make of that?
Design doesn't imply purpose or planning. A design can be caused by random events too.

What makes you think the laws of physics are 'imposed'?

You'll make yourself dizzy with circular arguments.

I like an analogy. IDers look at a puddle of water and conclude the water was perfectly designed to fit the hole to make a puddle.

It's even more apt than you know. Here in the Black Country, "puddled" means to be stupid.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
