My friend, it is you who believes the universe is eternal.
I think we're actually in agreement that our universe is not eternal, but I'm not sure. Wouldn't something outside of time be exempt from the need of a previous cause? Obviously we can't jump to God from that, but the God of the Bible does claim to be the creator of time and space, and therefore removes himself from the need for a previous cause.

How could anything, like the humanoid god of the bible that possesses a mind with intent and purpose to design and the ability to carry out the creation of the universe, ever possibly be able to exist outside of time and space...?

It's simple: UNDERSTAND SCIENCE.

That you choose to lie for christ isn't even remotely shocking Trips.  We get that sort of shit day in and day out.

So, evolution has flaws, but MAGIC makes perfect sense?

Gotcha. Good luck with that premise in your "scientific" field.

What does "outside of time" even mean?

Since existence is a temporal attribute, how could something even exist without time? Please explain how you are using the word "exist".

Just because the god character in your chosen religious texts is described as claiming to have created space and time, why should we believe it? Why should we believe the Bible is authoritative? How do you know that the Bible actually reflects the claims of a god?

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Maybe not bought it, but just comparing prices with something he saw at Toys'R'Us.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

Yet again, Facebook has perfect timing:

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

You know what, I take it back, you don't need a better understanding of science - well, you do - but what you really need first and foremost is a better understanding of creationism.
