My neighbors had theirs on earlier today. Thick fog has rolled in here and it's like warm pea soup out.

It's a tad cool here in Phoenix. The locals don't know what to do.
My son, visiting from NY, feels right at home.
It's warm and humid as hell here in Louisiana. We'd take a walk but don't feel like coming home sticky and reeking of a locker room. Running the AC on Christmas Day is just wrong to me. I grew up in North Dakota and then lived for about 20 years practically at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountains and so can't quite wrap my head around a green Christmas.
Can't we once a year give praise to Jesus? It is his birthday after all.
Sorry.
Praise Jibbers!
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

It's a gray day here. It doesn't feel like Christmas at all.

My mom, who is still in ND, says it's been a weird winter so far. Some snow on the ground but not nearly as much as one would expect. And warmer than usual average temperatures.
I seem to have brought California Christmas with me. It's 70 degrees here in DC.
