My neighbors had theirs on earlier today. Thick fog has rolled in here and it's like warm pea soup out.

It's warm and humid as hell here in Louisiana. We'd take a walk but don't feel like coming home sticky and reeking of a locker room. Running the AC on Christmas Day is just wrong to me. I grew up in North Dakota and then lived for about 20 years practically at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountains and so can't quite wrap my head around a green Christmas.

My mom, who is still in ND, says it's been a weird winter so far. Some snow on the ground but not nearly as much as one would expect. And warmer than usual average temperatures.
