A video game with a soundtrack so good that I played the game once, thought the game sucked and then spent years listening to the game CD like it was an album.

Worth buying just for the music IMO.

Yeah I know: I don't possibly like the music out of pure nostalgia for the game.... I'm nostalgic for the music but not the game! I only played the game for about an hour! Then one day I was bored and listening to my game music CDs, I dusted out this old CD years after playing the game once... and gave it a listen out of pure curiosity. Fucking hell it was worth it.

What fucking game soundtracks from 1997 have a bass-line like that that sound that awesome and funky?

Oh well, the soundtrack was made by two people, 1 a guy who specialized in game soundtracks Stephen Root and another guy: Dominic Glynn - the guy responsible for one of the official versions of the Doctor Who theme tune and the guy who made jazz electronica music like this:
