I've never played Andromeda, but I'm a huge fan of the original trilogy. I kind of stayed away because it was so universally panned by critics.

I'm curious what your take is on that, Foxaire. If you're replaying it, I guess you don't think it's that bad. How do you think it stacks up to the original trilogy?

I like it well enough, much better than the second game in the trilogy, anyway. Which probably means you won't be particularly impressed with it. I base game desirability on survivability, and the casual mode on this one is a breeze. There's not a large collection of companions, but I am enjoying the storyline.

I swore I didn't need any more games unless they were really special, but I found Gary Grigsby's War In The East for cheaper than Steam sells it even on sale, so I bit. I've got the companion War In The West, but War In The East seems a better place to start.

Right now I'm getting my freak on with a hidden object game.
