Just started Baldur's Gate 3. I'm trying to decide if I like turn-based battling (I usually prefer hack-and-slash), but it has promise. Nudity built-in without mods.

What are you all playing right now?

Picked up Kingdom Rush for $6. I had KR Origins, but I wanted to play the original. It's got very addictive gameplay.

I got back into playing COD purely because of the new Nicky Minaj operator which I just thought it would be fun to go kill people as her. I've been also going back to dead by daylight. I main as the nurse now I think I've got better at using her by far, but I still like huntress and the spirit. Also some people are saying the new texas chainsaw massacre game is a bit like dead by daylight, I've been looking into getting that. I've seen loads of people playing it on tiktok I'm glad it's based on the old 1970s movie. Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them. Impersonation is treason.
Reading the reviews on XBOX, it sounds like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre is rather buggy.

If its anything like dead by daylight hopefully it will get fixed and they'll improve the game. As much as I like the texas chainsaw massacre the only downside is I can't see how they'll be able to upgrade the game that much though other than just fixing bugs. I think a game like dead by daylight is a better premise for a long lasting game because they can always add new killers and survivors and new mechanics to the game. They even have leatherface. Started playing No Man's Sky again, after a very long time out, but this time on PC. I used to play on xbox, but then it started having crashing issues, so that was one of the main reasons I stopped, but hoping the performance will be better on PC. My theory is that the crashes were a result of them reducing the size limit of bases so it couldn't handle my bigger bases any more. But never felt great about leaving it because it is an awesome game, but the longer and longer I did leave it, the more and more out of the loop I got (since there have been many major content updates since I played)... and forgot most of it... so starting again from scratch now on PC.
I've been toing and froing about going back to it for ages, but finally settled on going for it now, cos why not... it's 50% off right now because a major update has just dropped and at least on PC you can get multiplayer for free (ie I don't subscribe to PS Plus or xbox live and thankfully Steam doesn't seem to have an equivalent), and multiplayer in NMS is a lot of fun. I remember playing once (at a time when I did have xbox live) and ending up in someone's Twitch stream, and when I found their video they were in the foreground describing something and there was me in the background being chased back and forth by a Sentinel (little flying robots). It was just hilarious... I so wish I had that clipped
Installing Euro Fishing Ultimate Edition on the XBOX. I had the other Dovetail sim but I prefer this one. Of all the things I can no longer do due to my loss of fingers, fishing is probably the most significant one.

Sorry, nevermind.
There's nothing quite as satisfying as putting down your first thumper (ie mineral extractor) in No Man's Sky. It's the first step to a truly, and potentially limitless, passive income in the game, as well as laying the foundations for mass industrialization. All the work that goes into setting it up... researching and producing the tech, finding the right site, optimising placement to get the best yield, making sure it's all adequately/efficiently powered (eg working out the maths for the right combination of solar panels vs batteries (if you can't find a local electromagnetic power source), to keep it running uninterrupted 24/7... it's just all so satisfying and by far my favourite aspect of the game, and I can only think of one other game that has anything vaguely similar, and that is Astroneer, which also has what I call thumpers for extracting resources from the ground and making the earth move when it does
Anyway today it's one thumper netting me 250 copper per hour (as opposed to all the hard work of scouting for deposits and mining them manually, which is what you have to do without thumpers), and where copper is needed to make more thumpers... so the sky's the limit from now on... slowly, incrementally, you can build up your empire from such humble beginnings to having hundreds of them for every resource, netting you thousands per hour of anything you could need, and being completely and utterly self sufficient... and a great journey to get there, so yeah, absolutely love this game!
I've never been able to get into building or management games. I like to kill. Kill! Kill! Kill!
