This time around, though, the owlbear cub is not in the goblin camp. Still munching on its dead mother. The only difference that comes to mind is that I did not interact with the hunters who were attacked by the owlbear.

Seems as though I might have been doing Hex and Eldritch Blast wrong all this time in BG3.

Apparently, you can switch to another companion in the middle of a dialogue. Well, this would have been nice to know hundreds of hours ago.

I've been wanting to buy EA Sports' PGA Tour. It goes on sale for $28 from time to time and is an improvement over my current golf game. There was a key for a game going by that name, but not showing up with the game's standard placard, so it wasn't clear if it was the same game. But it was only $14, so I took a chance. It's the right game, and as a bonus, it's the deluxe edition. Woot!

Wow, I've never seen in a game such OP rewards as what I'm seeing in the game I"m currently playing; Littlewood, a Stardew-esque farming, collecting, game. It's like a total God mode in the end game, and totally unexpected... like the latest reward I got let's you rewind time as much as you want (where time in this game is a measure of your energy used) so tantamount to infinite energy, but framed in a more fun Groundhog Day type way... means you can completely mine, fish, chop trees, and catch bugs till the map is bare, every day if you want and get a shit-ton of XP for all those skills in the process. Can't wait for tomorrow's gaming session when I'll be doing exactly that. Just wow to the end game rewards in this game; never seen anything like it in any other game.

In BG3, there is a Jack of all trades achievement.

BG3 dice rolling is weird. You need a thirty to succeed, but an initial twenty is considered a critical success and it ignores the fact that you needed ten more points
