PS4 consoles are rather cheap on Ebay. I'm torn between a PS3 and a PS5. There are older games that I'd like to play on the PS3, but newer games and the Atelier series would play on the PS5, as well as games being released going forward. I'm going to look into using emulators on the PC for now and I've got a bunch of games on my XBOX that I just bought.

Debating whether to buy Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. It's on sale at a great price and looks like a great game, but I've got so many already.

Metaphor: Refantazio didn't hook me at the start, but maybe I need to give it more time.

Debating whether to skip Octopath Traveler I. I've got Octopath Traveler II and the series is right up my alley, but I'm worried about getting bored after too much of the same thing.

I went ahead and bought Infinite Wealth. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. I've focused on buying higher-quality games over the past year and it's mostly been to my benefit. I still get suckered into buying cheap games that have superficial appeal, but I'm getting better at resisting that temptation. I try to avoid buying unless it's both cheap and good. I bought a handful of games that I'll be unlikely to play much during the holiday sales, but most of my choices are bangers. Oddly, I regret not buying one of the cheap and mediocre games. They had the Van Helsing trilogy for $5. I'm probably better off spending that $5 on something else, but the FOMO is strong.
