Redemptive Suffering?
January 8, 2016 at 5:04 pm
What is your philosophy on suffering?
Can it make one a better person, or lead to good?
What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger?
Can suffering bring out the best in people? Is the goal of life to avoid pain and suffering?

I think it's part of the human experience/condition...the yin and yang of life, so to speak. In Zen Buddhism, I recall a quote...''getting hurt is inevitable, but suffering is a choice.'' Guess it sort of points to the idea that your life isn't the sum total of your circumstances but rather how you view them?

It God made it so suffering makes you stronger, to justify including suffering, then that's another stupid rule.
For god's sake give someone competent the keys. Here, I'll sort it all out for you.

What's with all of the two-word question titles, and OP's that are just a bunch of questions? Don't you HAVE an opinion of your own? State it in the OP, if you do.
