Great Classical Music that Doesn't Sound Like Church?

Or how about Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue?

Organ's are nice, but I like mellotrons even more:

One more for now.  I'm not a classical purist by any stretch of the imagination.  I happen to think that some of modern "new age" creations and film scores should also be considered "classical".   Here's Mike Oldfield's "Harbinger" (yes, it has some similarities to Tubular Bells) as an example.

My personal all time favorite.

Oh yes, very nice string piece by Brahms, the dude with the scowling mug!

Also, that grand piano Debussy is quite amazing, even more so to watch (don't think I'll ever be able to tickle the keys like that).

Thank you! Thank you!

My fandom of classical hovers closely around the Nutcracker.

Oh, yes!

Don't think I've heard anything of Tchaikovsky wich doesn't sound amazing, and this tops what I recall so far.

Not classical but interesting... experimental stuff:

Not really to listen to for enjoyment, more for interest in music theory.

If you like piano concert stuff by Tschaikowsky, how about Rach 3?

Non churchy classical.
So many to choose from:
Carl Orff - Carmena Burana O Fortuna:  More like the minions of Morgoth riding to battle with the Valar.

Wagner: Ring of the Niebelung- always smells like napalm in the morning.

I was thinking to include John Cage: 4'33" but that might actually be the same silence as found in church.

So how, exactly, does God know that She's NOT a brain in a vat? Huh
