Ted Cruz: God's Annointed?

Ted Cruz: God's Annointed?
What do you atheists think of Ted Cruz, and what would be the ramifications if he won the Repub nomination, or became President?

As near as I can tell, they would not be good.

All of the Republican candidates are in bed with the Christian right to some degree or another. But Ted Cruz takes it to a whole new level.

From what I have read he seems to be a dominionist, similar to Michelle Bachman ( a Godly lady from my home state!)

He has the endorsemnt of much of the religious right: http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/arch...in/421563/

He also associates with Christian extremists:

There is much left- wing ballyhoo about the potential for a "Christian theocracy". They claimed we were living under such when GWB was prez, but that was not the case.

However, I fear it could be the case with Cruz.

The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Could very well be.  Your fucking god seems to be a dismal judge of character.

If America made the progress it did in legalizing gay marriage nationwide, I doubt that a Republican will make it into office. The problem is that Republicans have a very hard time of keeping their ignorant views to themselves, and America is overall quite tired of those views.

I wonder.

We'll know in November because there one of this collections of douchenozzles will be nominated and there is no difference in their attitudes, only their style.

He can't be God's anointed if he was born in Canada.

Then again, Ted Cruz hasn't said "Sorry" enough in his lifetime to classify as Canadian, so I have mixed emotions.
Which is better:
To die with ignorance, or to live with intelligence?

Truth doesn't accommodate to personal opinions.
The choice is yours.
