I agree. Cruz would be a third term of GWB - a stupid Jesus freak. If he get's the nomination, hopefully Hillary will be able to paint him with that brush. GWB is still unpopular. I think that would be her best chance against him. Argue that we have seen this before and it wasn't pretty.

The problem here is 'Hillary as savior'. Consider the fact that the GOP field has been whittled down to three buffoons from what was an out of control clown car. The Democratic nominee should win going away, but there's a real risk that Hillary will have trouble sealing the deal. Most conversation centers on the GOP disaster, but I hear almost nothing from punditry at large about how pathetic Democrats are for coronating this neo-con corporate shill.

The point is that an election decided in the HofR would satisfy no one except the relative handful of billionaires.  Of course, with their army of thug cops that may be enough.  But at least we would not have to pretend to be a democracy any more and we could get right down to the business of fascism.
