Atheism and Anti-Theism same thing?

Why not?

Quote:Nope, I mean anti-sex. Asexual would be atheism, my atheism metaphor is abstinence because it is the lack of sexual activity. Anti-sex would be in opposition to sexual activities believing they are harmful, or whatever, which is in direct parallel to Anti-Theism, believing that religions/the belief in god is generally harmful.
Abstinence doesn't simply mean lack of sexual activity. It means you are actively restraining yourself from the practice of(insert practice).

Your analogy fails.

Are you an atheist because you do not actively believe in god, or because you think the concept of god is harmful in general to society?

Your statement is incredibly untrue. Case closed.

Case reopened.

Not believing in God does mean being opposed to belief in God, if only to a smaller extent than if you were actually aware of belief in god(s), which most people are anyway.

Aren't you being cute?

Don't ask me questions you know the answer to.

My defintion may have been wrong.
Which is better:
To die with ignorance, or to live with intelligence?

Truth doesn't accommodate to personal opinions.
The choice is yours.

The more questions you ask, the more you realize that disagreement is inevitable, and communication of this disagreement, irrelevant.

Not believing in god means being opposed to the validity in the claim of God, not being opposed to the belief in the validity of the claim of God.

I am opposed to the claim of God being true, not opposed to someone else's belief that the claim of God is true.

Because you are a-unicorn does that mean you are anti-unicorn?

I realized.
My point is exactly the definition I gave.

Does lack of sex mean you are against sex?

Let me better explain my point. I contend that any position you have on any matter, negates all other positions by default(if simply because it is different from them).
