Erm..also, the Big Bang isn't an ex-nihilo theory...its just a model of what happened after the Planck time.

It's that Krauss calls it 'A universe from nothing' which annoys people.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Only if they don't know what he means by the word 'nothing.'

...on which he makes unjustified theological claims.

Do you understand that this is a claim, not a logical conclusion? And that by positing that God has no beginning, you forfeit any arguments based on a beginning being a requirement for anything to exist?

Of course many theists are guilty of taking for granted that it is possible to know fantastic things - just because it is what the institution they subscribe to believes. So many think it is an advantage of their mindset that they have answers to far out propositions whereas we have none.
I just don't understand why people care so much, honestly. Every religion (or lack thereof) that is not Catholic involves different beliefs than the one I have. Does it upset me that these people believe in things that I don't think are true? Absolutely not. It's a notion that I cannot understand.
It's dangerous for theists to argue each other's beliefs, because all of them that rest on the supernatural are equally unfounded. Best to avoid opening that can of worms, it can lead to atheism.
I'm not upset that you believe. I respond to comments. You could make a bad argument for anything and I will point out what's wrong with it. Many theists are content to simply believe without trying to convince anyone else that they're right. Those theists will never hear from me.

Cthulu wasn't challenged concerning causality requiring a temporal framework for the same reason he wouldn't be challenged concerning a statement that the moon is round.

Or rather, cognitive dissonation?
I don't see how. I feel confident enough in my beliefs that other people not believing it doesn't bother me. That's all there is to it. What you believe doesn't bother me. I only respond to what you say. I don't think I'm the only person here for whom that is true.

As for the rest, I guess I just don't really care when people of other religions bring up things that I don't think make any logical sense. To each their own.
The kid getting upset that no one else agreed with him applies as well of course.
You have to care about whether something is actually true in order to care about whether what someone says about it is true. If what you have to say about God is actually true, it's amazing, senses-shattering information. If it's just a matter of opinion, everyone's got one.

Well, to be fair, that is kind of the point of being supernatural, which is kind of the point of being God in the first place lol.
As for the pleading, no... I won't plead anything from any of you. That's just what I believe.
Special Pleading is a fallacy where you try to make an exception to a general rule because it's convenient to your argument. These are examples:
All drug abusers should go to jail. Except Rush Limbaugh, anyone can get hooked on oxy, it's not really his fault.
Superstition is a pernicious manifestation of ignorance, except astrology, that shit is real.
You'd have to be a fool to fall for a conspiracy like 9/11 truthism or that antivaccer stuff, but the moon landings were definitely faked.
A business owner can't refuse to serve someone for their race or religion, but refusing to serve someone who is gay is a business owner's right.
Everything that exists must have a cause, except God.
