I would further clarify that basically, if you see the penis and vagina, it's hardcore. If you only see tits and subjective thrusting, it's softcore.

That is similar to a definition of hardcore I saw a long time ago. It may have been something to do with the censor board here in Canada, or maybe something else. It referred to anything showing genitals and something about penetration as well.

Yeah, it's not a definite definition, especially since different standards exist in different countries, but for a basic idea of the difference, that seems to be the most consistent.

I find 'seeing' the sexual body parts as little to do with the 'softcoreness' or 'hardcoreness' of the situation. If one is performing in a sport deemed 'hardcore': it is definitely firstly very active [i](perhaps dangerously so) and secondly likely painful (and likely difficult). Indeed... the setnet fishery is also hardcore under this definition... so it applies to work as well. Why modify the definition for something as petty as an interpretation of sexual "explicitly"?

I don't like large groups of people around me for anything)... and since I am very selfish: the unlikelihood that they would focus entirely on me for the whole of the time (or even much of it). Hardcore porn is not defined the same as hardcore sports. There is no requirement in the case of porn for there to be a higher activity level or pain.

Your personal definition may vary, but I am going with the more generally accepted, even if somewhat vague, definition that most people think of regarding 'hardcore porn'. That's the definition I meant when I originally used the word 'hardcore', the generally accepted one. But your mileage may vary.
