Hows the 3rd grade? Not that I really give a fuck what you think on anything at this point.

You can argue the topic based on the facts, or you can take your issues and go fuck yourself with them - your choice.

Time for a comedic intermission:

One of those pansy liberals asked me, "Can you shoot anyone without a gun?"

I replied, "That's rather a loaded question!"

Ah.

There has been a rise in criminal gang activity in the UK and a sharp rise in the population with very little in the way of gun related gun deaths. It seems likely that without gun regulation gun deaths would have increased.
What you seem to be saying is that America and Americans are by nature more prone to shooting people. Is this really your argument?

Not by their nature, probably because of a wide variety of complicated issues, wealth disparity, poverty, culture etc. But yeah, I mean I think the data backs that up pretty well; the UK has always had a lower murder rate then the US, even when their gun laws were similar. The gun laws in the UK didn't change the murder rate there, I don't see why they would in the US.

RE: Why More Americans Want to Own Guns
I would say the answer to why more Americans want to own guns is because there is a lot of talk in recent years to ban guns incrementally through increased regulations. Gun sales are going through the roof because of that, since people want to be able to own a gun before our rights are taken away.

I get the idea of rights vs privileges, but for someone to say you don't have rights, you only have privileged means you accept you are not truly free, and have to ask your government to grant you privileges to do what should be a right if you were free. This whole thing about wanting security instead of freedom sounds strange to me, but we all want security to a certain extent. I don't want to live in anarchy, but I don't want to live in a dictatorship. If you want total security, go to prison. There you're fed, clothed, given medical care and so on. The only thing lacking... is freedom. There will be a day when gun confiscation begins. I've seen the military training videos.

I think we ought to not assert gun related deaths wouldve happened without guns one way or another...we simply cannot know..
Plus if gun regulations bring down a tiny percentage of deaths no matter how small it's still lives saved, who knows that saved lifes could be you or one of your family..?
Gun deaths are not related to carelessness to any statistically noticeable amount.  Six out of ten are suicide, the remaining four are murders.  Gun regulations -don't- bring deaths down, that's the elephant in the room.

Ask yourself why every dictatorship in the history of the world has prevented from the people to own weapons, and has gone through gun/weapon confiscation prior to the dictatorship. Hitler, Stalin, Mao etc.
