If it's a two man race, I don't really see Cruz as being the second man. Cruz should have done better in the south, but he only managed to pick up his home state and one other bible belt state. I think his campaign might have climaxed. On the other hand, I think Rubio's and/or Kasich's best moments are ahead of them. Not saying Cruz won't win again, but Super Tuesday should have been his night. He's working really hard to sell this as a two man race, because he knows that undermining the viability of Rubio and Kasich is his only shot as being the anyone-but-Trump candidate.

Clinton had the most superdelegates when she was up against Obama, but as Obama won more and more states, many of Clinton's superdelegates switched to support Obama instead. Also note that superdelegates don't even *count* until the conference. There's no official party total of them. News organisations and pollsters keep track via different means. Some will track only those who have publicly announced their support; some will try and estimate the numbers. The point is, you can go to different news sites and get completely different numbers of delegates. The only delegate numbers that are static are the pledged delegates, which are those won in primaries / caucuses. Unfortunately, that might be the only reason he doesn't get the prize, push comes to shove. The dems aren't better than that, not by an inch.

Super Delegates are not to be considered as actual delegates. They changed for Obama in 08 when Clinton was backed by tons of super delegates, but Obama had won the people. They always change for whomever the people decide is the nominee, and serve no relevance currently.
Furthermore, it was a win for Bernie. He won 3 out of 4 toss-up states, and showed that Clinton doesn't have a firewall. Bernie has won 41% of the pledged delegates so far with only 21% decided, and nearly all of the south has already voted. He still has a seriously good chance of winning it. Don't be fooled. Which is better:

In June of 2008, Clinton suspended her campaign, released her delegates to vote for Obama, and later at the convention moved to have him nominated by acclamation.

They will have to change their minds if they see Bernie is the one winning in terms of pledged delegates. If they don't do that, the DNC is fucked. 
Quick question, as I'm not remotely an authority on USian politics: How did it get to be 'Super' Tuesday? Was it bitten by a radioactive Tuesday?
