The election came up while I was talking with an American friend of ours (yes, we have them) and he told me he was concerned that Mrs. Clinton's election would mean a continuation of her husband's policies. At this point his girlfriend piped up with, 'Yeah, eight years of peace and a roaring economy. What a bastard HE was.'

I arrived in Somalia as a Marine on 9 December 1992, before Clinton ever got in office. How did that happen?
