Also I was not sure where to put this, it fits into several categories.

I was curious as to people reactions/thoughts about this bloated spectacle.

Personally I was disappointed at the lack of whipping during the crucifiction[1] scene.
How do they expect to guilt trip people if they don't have copious amounts of blood?
