I am kind of annoyed about how this story is being reported in national/global media. It is true that the octopus escaped and went down a storm drain. But I doubt with all the pollution, even if it did make it to the ocean as claimed that the octopus was not affected by it. Wouldn't it be more likely that it died from some pollution in the drain or got stuck on an object in the drain. There is a stupid assumption the octopus made it all the way to the ocean.
