I think that whenever Christians want to put God on something, they should legally have to specify which version of God they are referring to. Catholic? Baptist? Universalist? They'd be so busy in-fighting over which one that God would never end up on anything.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Kevlar vests show exactly how much they trust God.

Guns too. If they trusted god that much there would be no need for them.

I think some of the christer brain logic goes like this:

OK, I might be wearing clothes of mixed fabrices, I'm on wife number 3, I don't cane the kids, my garden has 6 different kinds of plants in it, I don't handle asps, speak in tongues or celebrate the sabbath from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday, but hey !!!

my municipality has garbage trucks that proclaim "In God We Trust" !!!

I'm still SAVED, YIPPEE !!! Praise Jesus !!!

(and for the christers who might happen upon that, to be clear, your faith does NOT work that way, glad to clear that up for you)
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

This irks me because God should not be mixed in our government and they are using the legal loophole that's it's on our money and the national motto.

Which having "God" on anything in the government is unconstitutional since we are supposed to be a secular government. State and Church should not mix.

I'm so ashamed of this and I'm pissed now  Angry

How would Christians like it if all police cars had "there is no god" emblazoned on the sides.

That sticker is just the worst.

You have both the eagle and the flag, because cops are doubly patriotic.
And then, you have a really weird mix of drop shadows and no shadows (eagle head makes a shadow on the flag, but the banner makes no shadow on itself).
But! The banner has the worst in 1990s graphic design blue/purple letters with white stroke outline and inexplicable drop shadow.
'We' is inexplicably lowercase.

It's just incredibly tacky in the worst "Draping myself in the flag and plastering 'In God We Trust' everywhere makes me a real 'Murican!" way.

You have to study them in their natural habitat, L/P.

No shit, these assholes want to make poor people with no power have photo ID shouldn't be a problem for an all powerful god to come up with one.
