Enlightenment.

Enlightenment.
I'm slowly beginning to realize that at some point or another every thinking being seems to have moments of clarity. Where they realize that neither they conform around the universe, nor that the universe is conforming around them, but rather that they are the universe. Once you realize this neither the past nor future becomes of your concern, because you realize that neither of those things are happening, the universe has no memory, or imagination, it simply is in one single moment. It is one moment individually experienced by itself and one existence in which others live in the moment of, nothing more, nothing less. It is constantly moving forward, so as Alan Watts said, dance with it. You can meet this realization with any emotion possible. But only peace, at mind and at heart, can replicate it. The rarity of this realization comes from analyzing the origin of it and never deciding to live in it. Because one likely will try to replicate it, as the sense of peace it brung in to a chaotic world was seemingly enlightening, this effort to replicate the rare moment of clarity that their mind so happened to stumble upon by chance, is the very thing that prevents them from tapping in to that clarity, and eventually realizing that clarity never needed to be tapped in to in the first place, but simply existed in oneself all along, that effort to feel enlightened is the very thing standing in the way of one ever feeling enlightened. Because, you see.. Once you start analyzing an experience..your experience seizes to exist. Once you consciously decide to treat an experience as something externally caused, at that moment, it 's as though the experience never happened in the first place, as though you're chasing something you believe exists, but cannot define, and cannot ever know how to attain. It's attempting to win a race by simply imagining oneself running, yet never actually moving. However, when you come to the realization that the only way to ever truly enjoy experience is to truly and utterly embrace it, to live in that moment and not your concept of the next, then, that experience seems to never end.

You may read this and think my thoughts are scattered. You may even think of me as schizophrenic, that this is all nonsense that should be treated as nonsense and if sense is meaning also is non-meaning. Yet, this is the most clarity, that I've felt in a long time.

I don't know if this will be liked, disliked, or ignored completely, but I don't care in all honesty. I just wanted to put my thoughts somewhere.
Which is better:
To die with ignorance, or to live with intelligence?

Truth doesn't accommodate to personal opinions.
The choice is yours.

There is God and there is man, it's only a matter of who created whom

The more questions you ask, the more you realize that disagreement is inevitable, and communication of this disagreement, irrelevant.

RE: Enlightenment.
Consciousness, life and the universe are a mystery to me. I expect they always will be. I can only relate things by comparison.
