Exactly, when the Bernie supporters switch over to Trump, we can finally take down the clinton crime machine, and everyone will be happy, yay!
Bernie supporters hate the corrupt PoS known as Trump more than they do Hillary.

Though I bet the GOP wishes they had it right about now
You know, it isn't as if it is a secret. If Sanders didn't know ahead of time then he should have known. He's been in Congress for 25 fucking years.
These are contests to decide the nominee of a party. I get that independents think they are somehow remaining "pure" by not signing up with either party but the fact is that all they manage to do is make themselves irrelevant. In the 1970's the religitards took over the GOP and we are still paying the price for that fiasco. If "progressives" want to take over the democratic party they should grow a pair of fucking balls, sign up, and do it.
I'm tired of their fucking whining. I agree with you. Sanders knew well in advance that not only was he going against the system, but he knew the system in place that would be against him. He knew fair and well that the superdelegates would be against him and he willingly accepted.
However, that does not mean we cannot still discuss the system's corruption as a whole. The entirety of the superdelegate system is politicians banding together to undermine the people's vote. Even if corruption is left out of the picture, you still can't reasonably justify the system as equal if popular political figures are given more power than the people, unless you admit that this system is to allow corruption, politicians banding together to undermine public vote, there is no validity for this system to be in place.
No need to whine and boo-hoo over Bernie Sanders and the superdelegates royally fucking him, it should come as no surprise to anyone. He is not ignorant. I would be utterly shocked if he came out in a trump-like fashion and cried about the establishment treating him unfairly, mainly because he knew he would be treated unfairly. And as most movements in history, change happens when you face up to inequality. He did not decide to face up to it thinking it would be an easy pathway, win or lose.
The system's corrupt. But it's not unknowingly corrupt. It's there for everyone to see, for everyone to challenge. Even if one tried and failed, eventually justice will triumph, eventually the people will win. That's all Bernie stood for. The will of the people. Go watch his debates, his interviews. Tell me if he says "I" when referring to his campaign, or if he instead says "We". Now do the same for Hillary. See the difference? No one seemed to notice this subtle detail, because it alone, isn't a huge deal. It's what it stands for though. Bernie Sanders dreamed that we, the people would prevail. Not that I, a person would prevail. Success for one is success for none.

A better alternative would be to make all primary elections open.

The same delegates who will elect Hillary will decide the platform. At this point Bernie is angling to make a speech in prime time and little more. He could probably get that by supporting Hillary tomorrow.
That's a good point. It's hard to argue with that. We just seem to be at a crossroads like in the 1960s where emotions prevail.

Losers always complain against the system. Again, I can remember when there were actually intelligent, reasonable, republicans: Eisenhower. Dirksen. Rockefeller. Javits. Margaret Chase Smith. At this time the Dems had such luminaries as Strom Thurmond and Robert Byrd! That republican party has now been taken over by the tea-bagging crazies. They now write the rules for the GOP.
There is nothing stopping progressives from taking over the democratic party except the stick up their asses.
Stop fucking bitching and get to work. This is not going to happen by magic.

Gee.... all you have to do next is to get the republicunt and democratic lawmakers to pass legislation to that effect.... and have it survive the inevitable court fights.
Good luck with that.

He should have dropped out a long time ago. Why does the old hag think congress will get on the ship with him?
