Hillary or Trump: Which of These is the Lesser of Two Evils?

I think a lot of libertarians certainly believe this, but to be fair this is only one particular brand of libertarianism (I think this is most precisely "anarcho-capitalism", yes?).

That's why I made the distinction between the American and European definitions. The American definitions don't cover liberalism very well. According to them, liberalism is left, while in other parts of the world, liberalism is in fact the ideal of libertarianism. It's usually about granting individuals the largest possible amount of freedom without any state interference. It's also about a free market, but not about a totally unchained market. That would be Neo conservatism.

That's pretty much a fair description of the Libertarian party here.

We’ve delineated the faults of Hillary. The evils of Trump are no mystery to us.  But it appears that in November we’ll have to choose between Ms. Wikileaks and Hitler Incarnate. What will you do?  Which of these is the lesser of two evils?  Is it possible that the Independent candidate might have a chance?

He's a con man. Trump University is a classic con. Claiming to be self funded and then paying yourself back with donations is a con. He stirs up racial and class hatred intentionally. He threatens to sue or jail his opponents. He wants to curtail free speech. He likes torture and suggests killing the families of terrorists. His policies on the stump and on his website don't match. He promises the moon but his ideas for achiving that are ludicrous and change with the wind. He's a demagogue.

Clearly you are a fucking idiot repeating talking points but have no substance and nothing to really back it up. All you do is repeat what others say, much of which is simply false. In fact the vast majority of what people say about Trump being evil is pure bullshit they can't back up with facts. It's all in their heads. And when you ask these people, they respond just like you did, they have nothing to say, so they don't want to talk about it, and just say Fuck Trump. Well fuck all these traitors and subverters trying to dismantle the US, it's culture, and industrialization.

One of the talking points is that Trump is racist is because he's against immigration, or that being against immigration is racist in itself. It's an insane argument or morons. Besides no one is against immigration, but we are against illegal immigration. For some reason some on the left feel there should not be borders and people should be allowed to freely come and go as they please. The whole border wall for example seems to be a big issue. We already have a fence and border patrol, to keep undocumented people illegally entering the US. We already have laws banning all people without a legitimate passport. But for some reason we are supposed to forget we have immigration laws, or maybe the left in the US isn't familiar with the laws we already have.

Right now we have 20 billion dollars a year being wired to Mexico from immigrants coming here to work and sending money back to their families instead of spending in the local economies here. And that's just one issue of illegal immigration.

The same people who fight for illegal immigration argue we need cheap labor so businesses can sell product for cheap, also demand we need a higher wage, and more jobs without realizing when you flood the labor market with cheap labor, you don't get higher paid jobs.

Stirs up racial hatred intentionally? Those people were stired before Trump came on the scene? Those people are focused on racial identity. Suddenly we have all these buzz words like white priveledge, white guilt, black lives matter etc. Saying all lives matter seems to get them angry, and if saying all lives matter more then just black lives, then let them get angry. I'm not going to bow down to their demands and try to appease them out of white guilt, which I don't have any. And what's this about class hatred? Is it because he's amassed billions of dollars from being a successful businessman and real estate developer? Are they jealous?

Suing someone for libel is nothing new.

What's an example of the free speech he wants to curtail? Are you talking about the protesters yelling incessantly when he's trying to speak at his events?

Not a fan of the torture thing, and I think he's even reversed that, even though it happens a lot in the real world in many countries, including the US, which not known to the general public. I don't support it, but talk to soldiers sometime about it.

I like him because he's real. He doesn't bow down to the broke back PC crowd and self censor his speech to appease their delicate feelings. PC is way out of control, and needs to be reversed. PC is really limiting freedom of speech, not Trump. I like him because he's not a globalist who wants to fleece the Americans out of money to support large transnational corporations. He wants to tackle our out of control trade deficit. He wants to fix the border issue, where even border agents say Obama forces them to complete the smuggling process, but capturing illegal immigrants bring them to the US, where they are let go, and not getting deported. I also like him because he upsets the fragile social justice warriors. He says things people are not used to hearing because a lot of people are very naive about how the world works, including trade, economics, business investment.

You have no facts, just conjecture. Provide some facts so I know what you are talking about. It's like a game of telephone where by the time it reaches you, the story is blown way out of proportion, people have added their own personal opinion as fact, exaggerate it, and then you get it. Most of the stuff people are getting so upset about are really trivial issues, so i'm curious what you think is so bad.

Is it that he wants to vet refugees before just letting them in, like they are not doing in Europe because adding millions of Muslims is working out so great for Europe lately? Is it because he wants to restructure trade treaties to balance the trade deficit? Is it because he says all lives matter?

Provide some facts so I know what you are talking about.

Read his biography. Read what he says. It's so easy and so much in the public domain that you're an idiot for not seeing it. There's nothing to provide other than what the horse's mouth is telling you anyway. But since you eagerly gobble up every turd that coincides with your personal prejudices and simplistic view of the world, you can't see it. Which was never up for debate.
