Those would be great choices, I could get behind either of those. Elizabeth would chew out Trump and destroy him, Jill would just make him and his voters feel stupid. If you think about it that it one hell of a ticket though.

Yup. They would be excellent choices. But they're not on the ticket.
I'm voting blue because I'm voting for 3, maybe 4 Supreme Court nominees. If/when Bernie is out, then the only positive that can come from a Clinton presidency is that we will likely have a majority liberal/moderate SCOTUS. With all of these RFRA laws being challenged, the endless onslaught of Obamacare challenges, these transgender discrimination laws that are being challenged, the laws limiting equal protection for LGBTQ+ individuals being challenged, we just saw what the GOP is doing in Texas/Oklahoma---all of those laws will be challenged.
Those are my fucking principles. I won't be a squalling child throwing a tantrum because I didn't get my way. I will vote to do everything I can to protect the social progress we have made in the last 10 years. The LGBTQ+ community deserves nothing less.
For those naive enough to think that just because Trump is making all these wild promises that he won't even nominate one hyper-conservative SC Justice, you are just dumping your head in the sand.

Protecting those principles is important, and keeping the progress moving forward is vital. Punishing states like North Carolina and others who continue to allow discrimination is a necessity. Their argument about it being religious discrimination is very very flawed. The bathroom argument needs to stop, who the hell cares about a damn public restroom this much? The only thing they have an argument about is peeping toms and those who would abuse the system to commit sex crimes. Other then that they have no argument, it seems to me they re used some of there anti-same sex marriage talking points and turned lose on the transgender population. I'm in 100% agreement with Steel on the rights of LGBT people. They deserve all the legal protection we can give them. I'm hoping that the secondary strategy follows through; she gets indicted and the nomination goes to Sanders. If that happens I hope Sanders can reinvent the Democratic party. It would be a win-win for everyone; the Republicans get there sought after conviction, and we can get our progressive change through Sanders. The only faction that gets left holding the bag are those in the Hillary camp. If that were to happen and Sanders did win, do you think he would grant her a full pardon?

So I haven't really checked out any polls, who's likely to become the next US President?
Please don't be Trump.

It's alright.
When Trump becomes President, no one is going to take your country seriously.
We struggle to do that already as it is.

I think Hillary is going to win anyway. So many people take the "lesser of two evils" approach to voting, and Trump has been portrayed next to her as this incredibly dislikeable candidate so she can garner more votes. I also feel like "social justice" is topical right now, and it's fitting to have the first female president right after the first black one. She's a novelty and that in itself will get her votes.
Sanders would be ideal, since he not only wants to address LGBT issues but also the racism in the criminal justice system, which is sorely needed. But I just don't think he'll get it, to me it looks like Hillary.

She will lose the election because she will lose several of the Blue States that have been hurt by Dem policies.
