Most parents tend to think their children are special, and I still think all children are evil spawn.

No, babies are not born with bad intent, they are just born. Unfortunately in evolution kids can grow up with different personalities, even kids that grow up with no criminal record can be selfish narcissists and greedy. One of those brats is running for our highest office.

Just like other mammals and other species the personality of that individual varies from individual to individual.

But with human babies, our labels we call race, religion, nationality and political and economic views, mostly get sold to our children from birth, before they can be taught critical thinking skills. It isn't impossible to raise a compassionate kid who grows up to value humanity beyond their own personal bias.

Babies are not born with a label, they get passed down their ideas from their parents. I don't think all kids are bad, I simply have no patience for them. Too much work for me. But I have seen parents who do wonderful jobs with their kids and others who do a horrible job and blindly protect them even if they've done some stupid shit they need to be reprimanded for.

Just like every other issue for me, it depends and is solely case by case. But the "us vs them" is sold to the youth of the world, it isn't something they are born with. If you stick a bunch of diverse toddlers into a room whom have never met, and if the parents haven't poisoned them with hate, those kids will naturally form their own social structures and make friends based on the kids in the group they got introduced in.
