October, 4am, asphalt, soft black socks, good running shoes, and headphones not those stupid earbuds but real headphones with my Spotify list (matchbox 20, Pearl Jam, Oasis, Smashing Pumpkins). No one else exists. No thoughts. Nothing. Just breathe..run..feel.

That moment when you get an idea to write a poem, and you are typing really fast as the words seem to write themselves. You sit there typing and love what you are reading at the same time. It's like it's not even you doing the writing.

I get what you're saying ... but I'll be damned if I ever write a poem that ain't pen, ink, and paper. I'm an old-school buzzard that way. No electricity required, except between the ears, y'know?

That was me up until a few years ago. I have rheumatoid pain in my fingers and writing by hand doesn't help. Of course, typing doesn't either. Heh.
