I hate when people assume atheists are bad people. It really troubles me. Atheists who follow their atheism to its full effect can have no basis for determining whether anything is ultimately good or bad, but that doesn't mean they can't subjectively be good people, which, in my opinion, the vast majority are. People like this guy are just douches.

Can't make it, but will be watching the Rally at a party tomorrow.

Well there is a difference between getting together to nail down a platform and getting together to celebrate something you have in common which is so reviled in this country. I'm not going but I live in an area where it is the religious who generally keep their heads down. More power to them. Hope they get recharged and walk away feeling still better about themselves. You wouldn't begrudge them that much, would you?

Because we don't like what you and other churches do in the name of a fiction book ..... I don't believe in Pedophilia and many other hateful things like the church but because I don't believe doesn't stop me campaigning against them.
I have nothing wrong with a personal God .... but those with one never keep it personal .... which can be shown by the amount of religious apologists on an atheist forum
