You know what's not going to make your website completed any faster? You badgering me about it. Or do you really not want me to spend the time it takes to secure it? Or to do things, like, I don't know, ensuring people can't put more items into their cart than what's in your inventory? Or that, because Stripe requires everything to be in cents, that I multiply/divide by 100 at the right time?

The client was actually somewhat useful today.
She still hasn't figured out how she wants to handle shipping costs, but I convinced her not to use USPS API. For one, it requires knowing (or calculating) both the box size and parcel weight ahead of time, which is impossible for her because the bulk of her inventory is fabric, which will be cut to order (and the fabric itself has different weights, as well). Second, setting it up and testing it would take too much time (plus, the API only accepts XML input... what is this, 2002?).
So, we're just going to go with a range of shipping costs based on the total cost of the order. Trivial/fast to implement, and it's what the majority of other quilting/sewing sites do, likely because of variable fabric lengths/weights, so she won't be an outlier. I just need her to give me the ranges and breakpoints.
I also finished the structure of all the admin-facing views (pages) and forms, so yay. I'm on track for starting final testing/tweaking starting Thursday.
