Missy greets all my visitors but he always ignores her.
So I pick her up and force him to hold her and pat her so she doesn't get her feelings hurt.

I have a cat who I swear knows people who don't like cats.

When they visit, he sits in front of them and either stares, meows, or rolls onto his back for a belly rub. For people who like cats he immediately starts rubbing against them THEN rolls onto his back for a belly rub.

It's funny watching the people squirm.

Just a quick computation of the $$$ involved is pretty amazing, an easy 6 figure loss is guaranteed, and that's over and above whatever you did. Can the company withstand the hit?? Idunno. That you weren't escorted out by cops is a head scratcher, that you weren't arrested either is even more of a puzzle.

Aww. Posts like this are so lovely. I'm so glad you had a meaningful experience with your friend.

I hope it felt good to cry. I know many people speak of how painful tears are... but for me it always feels healing. (And after all, natural selection wouldn't have lead to evolving us to cry if it was bad for us. I think it's probably healthy).
