I agree. And that's how I am in real life, too. On the internet, I tell theists that they are guilty of willful self-delusion (etc.), but I'm more polite and respectful in real society. My number one complaint about religion is that, every single day, someone is trying to force it on me in one way or another (or so it seems)... and I try not to be that way. I will tell them that "that doesn't work for me, but good for you", or something along those lines and leave it at that.
At times that will only get them started... as they think that I need them to "save me." Ugh. I can imagine that an atheist doing that to them is just as annoying.

I worried, at first, that there's more to it.. but I learnt over time that it's really fairly simple. It's the theists who are trying to complicate things..
