Here are some of my old demos, I recorded with Cubase, back in the day, when I still could be a*sed to do sh*t.
Feel free to point and laugh at my dreams of being a musician...

I don't think being a musician is a dream.  Clearly, you are a musician-- and you have some very intricate songwriting craft well beyond what I've done.

I know that collabs almost always collapse and fail ("Guys, I have a family thing, be back in a couple weeks" changes to "Hey. . . where'd that guy go?").  But would you be willing to send me some raw vocals to play with in an electronic song? You really are on a different level than me, I think-- certainly in how finished your work was. But if you are willing, I think it would be fun to do something.

See what could happen? If the forum was SC-enabled we could just drop the stuff here. Not only easier for the collaborators, but the rest of the forum gets to hear a work come together.

That atmospheric groove is very cool-- the kind of thing I'd use in my PC/android games.

I completely missed the bolded part. I'd happily let you use my music for your games (if you're interested). I'd also happily make some new music for your games when I get the spare time. I'm just not good with routines so it would be as and when, hehe.

ETA: Only thing is it would have to be music without voice samples... until I know where I stand on the copywrite issue regarding that. I just added it for fun; I would never let myself or others profit from it until I am aware of whether I'm infringing copywrites or not.

I wasn't overly worried because my favorite band ever (Orbital) often took samples from things without even asking permission and they've never once being sued... but I still personally wouldn't ever profit from it until I was certain I wasn't infringing anything.

ETA 2: That makes my favorite band ever, Orbital, sound bad so... I am quite certain that they were often (or maybe always) good friends with the artists they took samples from and knew that those artists wouldn't mind them using it.

In fact some of the artists they sampled from felt quite honored to be sampled by Orbital, I think.

Once I get a recording rig up, I'll be happy to provide any guitar-playing or songs. If it goes commercial we can discuss business; until that point I look at is as another collaboration and would be happy to contribute without obligation.

Feel free to play along to any of the fully instrumental parts of my songs with samples added... or either version of Attempted Journey which are both fully instrumental.

I also have a fully instrumental version of Hightech Lowlife called Subtle Gambit, if you're interested (it's exactly the same except without the voice samples... "Subtle Gambit" was the original name and I changed it to "Hightech Lowlife" because that seemed like a good name for it considering my usage of the George Carlin sample throughout).

I'll make some more music as and when when I have time. Not sure when that will be or how often

LOL... Vocals? Really? I'd say I'm a bad singer, only it would be more accurate to say, that I'm not a singer at all. It's the main reason, why most of my tracks are instrumental - that and the fact that I don't easily write lyrics. Oh, and also - I'm too socially inept and insecure to ask people to sing on my tracks.

To be honest - I haven't recorded anything in a couple of years, mainly due to depression, disillusionment and/or laziness. What sort of vocals would you have in mind? Like - a verse/chorus type of song, or more like vocal hooks/loops, more suited for dance music? I could probably dig up the vocal tracks from any of the songs I have on Soundcloud, or look through large number of my unfinished projects, for some bits...

I usually work best to spec - there's nothing, that paralyses my creativity and diminishes my motivation more than lack of limitations. If you - or anyone else - would provide me with some lyrics, a poem, or whatever - I could probably do something with that. I'm not saying it would be good, but might at least be worth a chuckle...
