There is an important difference between stating that every conservative is a racist and pointing out the unprecedented disrespect Obama has endured. Surely you see that. Racism is very likely an element of the over-the-top disrespect for some number of conservatives. None of that paints you with the same brush.
I don't like blanket condemnations, that is what was made. The OP didn't state "some Republicans" or "many conservatives" or "far right", .................
I'm not arguing that there has been no uncalled for, no unfounded, no over the top disrespect for Obama. I have never supported that behavior. I don't like or respect some of Obama's actions or policies. Do you see me calling liberals/democrats the equivalent of being "racists" (choose which ever word you like)?
Quite frankly, to my way of thinking, the OP's statement was every bit as disrespectful.

You're still not answering the question.The crux of my question was not his birthplace per se, but the racism that was insinuated. I asked you: Was George Bush attacked on the basis of his race? Did he suffer insinuations of same?

As for the 9/11 allegations, as I said, they largely come from the far-right spectrum of idiocy. Chomsky and others on the far-left of that spectrum have said stupid shit, no doubt, but equating the two presidencies doesn't hold water. The polity is far more polarized nowadays than they were before the Iraq invasion.
