Or was it an allegory?

Must admit, I stopped reading it after the first paragraph and skipped to the end.

I read the whole thing. Not only was a I not impressed as far as jokes go, but it was a rather boring story as well.

RE: Judgement Day
This thread is well-named. The 'joke' has been judged and found indescribably wanting.

Rowan Atkinson: Well it was very funny when Michael told it. I don't know, maybe my timing's a bit out...

Richard Curtis: Well, of course, there could be other factors. Such as the complete absence of anything funny in the joke.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

RE: Judgement Day
I started re-writing the torturous prose in order to demonstrate how it should be told as a joke, only to find that there wasn't one. It was just the judgemental ramblings of someone who thinks that he can tell a story but can't.

Here's an equally funny joke:

What do you call a monkey

Sure thing. "Joke" sketch, from Rowan Atkinson's Live In Belfast show.

Here's a joke, y'all:

Quote:An MIT linguistics professor was lecturing his class the other day. “In English,” he said, “a double negative forms a positive. However, in some languages, such as Russian, a double negative remains a negative. … But there isn’t a single language, not one, in which a double positive can express a negative.” A voice from the back of the room piped up, “Yeah, right.”

RE: Judgement Day
This was not a theist joke. This was a Man blackmailing the God of hellfire in his lifetime to justify his actions, and then blaming him in his death to escape punishment. and God saying, "What did the elephant say when he lost his penis?"

so first. as it is not a theist Joke. It is funny that the man is a blatant imbecile. Then, the punch line is a one liner which will make you piss yourself in the work place every time you tell it. < @at Redbeard the Pink, nothing more. no implied spiritual agenda. Just throwing cake on the ground and laughing at the birthday boy.

and you all. having it be, that I met you all here now. Obviously wouldn't get the humor XD AHAHHAHA.. ahahahahah. oh goodness gosh, oh me..
Big Grin because your all .... AH HA HA

there was, are , iss a few exceptions***
