PM if you're uncomfortable making that public ... just hoping to pick your brains, hardy-har. Well, I was "pro" in the sense that I made money at it; played full time (6 days a week, 5 hours a night) for just 3 years. Never played with any well known people. So call it 'semi-pro,' like yourself, if you like. ;-) (July 11, 2016 at 9:28 pm)LivingNumbers6.626 Wrote:(July 11, 2016 at 12:44 am)Detachable Wrote: Howdy, I'm an unusual person, I guess. Single; like variety, learning, doing new things. Like freedom, exploring. I live very simply in one small room on outskirts of Bangkok. No car. Can live quite cheaply this way. Lots of time to study, think.... ;-)
Well I think you are living the dream! That's fantastic! Maybe someday I'll head that route...

Well, I never made a living at it, never made money at it more than perhap five hundred bucks a year after expenses. I always kept a day job, and once my son was born, gigging went to the wayside for a decade. Anyway, good to have another fiddler on the boards.
I will be in Bangkok Aug 8th.
Welcome aboard.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
Welcome!
