hacking

RE: hacking
My friend introduced me to Linux and I havent gone back since. I enjoy using the terminal to mess around with creating directories and making files in the directories. The terminal is to linux what DOS is to windows. I have watched many good youtube videos about how to use the terminal in linux. Linux rocks. I have never had any trouble with it.

I have Linux Mint 14. I began with Ubuntu 10, I believe, back in 2009. That was when I was introduced to Ubuntu by my friend in town. I had never heard of it before. There is a cute girl on youtube named Nixie Pixel who likes to make videos about Linux. But she has been sick lately so she doesn't make many videos, she updates about her health though, which is nice.

Twice as much memory? Maybe you should learn more about the basics of computing before trying to get into hacking, whatever that means to you.

You mean like open jars, escort spiders out and put some shelves up?

Or do you specifically mean porn?

RE: hacking
I don't know what men were doing with their computers back in the 90's but I installed Slackware back in 1996 which I first had to copy to 40 floppy disks. I then had to configure and compile the kernel and the X-windows system. I then used it for programming genetic algorithms and natural language parsers in C++.

I had a woman's computer that did woman's things! It got broody and nagged.

Nice Shy How long have you used Linux operating systems? I've used them since 2009. Just Ubuntu 10 and Linux Mint 14 for me. I guess they have Linux Mint 18 now.

RE: hacking
Back in the 90's, I tried SUSE.... it came free with some computer magazine...
Didn't work out very well, in the end, as it had no games to play, there was no internet to download games from and... well... there wasn't much to do with it.
Back to DOS and Win3.11 for workgroups.
