They were tricked too, friend.  In any Ponzi scheme only the first people involved get rich.  The rest get bled dry.

Sad fact.

Me too!  Although we may have different ideas on what harm is.
I think that the same should be true of evolution and other ideas.

You want to speak out against the harm evolution does? I have no idea what you're even talking about.

It doesn't harm anyone to watch an evolution video or any documentaries for that matter.

I doubt that anyone has been harmed from reading the bible either - unless they where doing so while driving.

That makes two of you.

RE: Speechless
In many parts of the world, where people are very poor, the suicide trough hardcore addiction and conscious suicide is a big problem. Religion does what nowdays survivalist atheistic society doesnt do - show compassion to those who need it.

If you are compassionate independent thinker or atheist, you have the rights to accuse religion. If your an avrage egositical individual, you have no rights to judge religion. Because indoctrination of religion is often aimed at making people more caring a compassionate...

Consumerism of nowdays atheistic society is even worse than religous attempts to make people more caring trough fear.

Maybe we could go one thread without you repeating that fantasy mantra?

You must have a soft fluffy view of natural selection.... how nice.  It may be time for some education and rational thought!
That  was more a minor point in the statement, but really I could say the same... I have no idea what you mean that religion causes harm (at least implicitly).

I grew up catholic and I even upgraded to the evangelical brand because my parents did and I had to go along with it until I moved out. I did read the bible a lot. I remember the pastor would always say the bible is inexhaustible. But, he was wrong. It is exhaustible and it is readable from front to back. You can read the Bible over and over again and it doesn't change. Maybe read some other book.

You can read the bible while driving with a tablet these days. People read texts while driving all the time. It wouldn't be that hard to read a chapter while driving. Don't harm yourself though while reading your tablet while driving

You might benefit from looking at the astrotheology information out there on youtube. Also, you might enjoy the information about amanita muscaria and the theory that jesus is a metaphor for the mushroom world and other drug cults.

I read a lot of books about the amanita muscaria mushroom and psilocybin mushroom. Drugs have been a big part of the world of religion, same with sex. I don't want to make a super long response that makes no sense so I will stop. I will just finally say that there are books out there than explain what the bible actually is, so, look for them.

What!?

I don't know how to reply to this. I'm not even going to try. You're showing such a lack of comprehension of just about all the terms you're using, despite having gone over it hundreds of times, that it really is pointless.
