Oh I would crush you all. That's a no brainer. I'm just a tinkerer, and I would get frustrated with this version. I know my limitations!
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Me in, although I hold out no hope for Washington as long as Danny owns the team.

Why not? It's not like anyone is betting real money in Vegas on this. It's just for fun.

EDIT: It's pointless to guess at preseason games, the starters only play in one out of four of the games and teams are more interested in scouting talent than winning, and there is no skill in it at all.
I'm out of this one, if you guys want to do the pickem' with preseason, go for it.

What is the difference? Nobody is winning any money even for winning regular and playoffs? Although I am thinking of filing a frivolous lawsuit against AF for not awarding me my free pocket lint last year for wining certain weeks.

I guess we just have a fundamental disagreement about how competitive I am... [emoji14]

Yea we do. Fortunately in this case it is unimportant, but in life globally especially with politics and religion and business, far too many humans think competition is a sport to the point of harming others.
It isn't that I hate competition, it is part of evolution. But I don't see that enough people understand that you cant simply have it blindly. I do find it sad that people put so much passion over teams they don't own or play for, while others starve and workers cant make ends meet. Plus having been a Washington fan for 40 years, you understand long term it is a crap shoot in any case. You have good years and bad years and good decades and bad decades. That is why I personally just make my picks for for fun. I have long since stopped stressing out over a Skins loss other than silly ranting.
And even outside professional sports, growing up I never liked it when other kids on the block or in school would throw fits or get into fights when they lost. Once played a game of pick up football, where I ran out for a pass and beat the guy covering me to make a touchdown, he was so pissed that when I reached the blacktop of the basketball court at the end of the field trying to slow down, he pushed me in the back causing me to fall forward which sprained my wrist and caused my forearms to end up like grated bloody cheese. So on top of being sensitive to bullies, I have never been a fan of those who cant simply have fun win or lose.
It is fine that people have different personalities, but I guess for me I am way too sensitive to over competitive people who cant have fun even if they lose. Not accusing you of that, just speaking in terms of my life's experiences.

Hey, if you guys want to do the preseason games, I'm in. Let me know in this thread. We can make it an entirely separate contest if you want (i.e. the wins/losses don't could towards the regular season totals) and just have a "Preseason Winner".
That would mean there are 4 contests in total:
1) Preseason (4 Weeks)
2) Playoff Prediction (a one-pick contest where people predict the NFL postseason playoffs before the regular season starts)
3) Regular Season (17 Weeks)
4) Playoffs (4-5 Weeks)
