Thanks. Yeah. My life sucks and there are no easy outs except the big one. I just try and make the best of it.

Sure yes. I have never taken recreational drugs, unless you count things like caffeine. I used to be addicted to fizzy drinks.

I've been on medication most of my life, and a lot of it. I'm still on the maximum dose of antidepressants and I dare not reduce it one bit. I've managed recently to come off of some of my medications for my Crohn's disease.

It also depends which antidepressant he is taking. If it's amitriptyline, imipramine or dothiepin then he should probably stay away from weed.

There hasn't been much research when using cannabis on the other antidepressants out there, but I wouldn't recommend it just to be on the safe side.

If you're not taking any prescription meds, then smoke away for all I care.

Me, the sublime moments come from those I love, when our love is so present words aren't necessary -- my son and I out for a hike, my girlfriend (when I have one) and I laying in bed on a quiet morning ... Or it comes in an adrenaline rush -- a roller-coaster, coming off-stage after a good gig, a good trail-ride ... the feeling I get when I'm able to reach out and touch someone, stir someone with words, writing a good song or story ... these are the things I live for.

I do take amitriptyline, although for my Crohn's. Smoking is bad for my Crohn's as well. Not that I'd have the money anyway. And once I started on drugs, I probably wouldn't come back again. I can't do that to those I love.
