Why is ISIS Worse than the 1948 Israeli State?

I'm hearing all over the radio that Trump is accusing Obama and Clinton of starting ISIS. I don't want a laundry list of the evils of Islam, but I would like to know why it's okay for the Israelis to invade Muslims and drive them out of their homes as they did in 1948 to establish their state, but wrong for Muslims to have a state.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

Bias. Everything over there is bullshit no matter which way you look at it. It all depends on who has the strongest friends.

Because Israel was defending itself in 1948. Flawed as the situation was, they weren't the ones attacking the Arabs. It was the other way round with everyone attacking them. I thought that should be obvious.

Not going to defend 1948 Israel, but they weren't literally enslaving women from minority religions.

I'll have to agree with the others here on one point. ISIS is absolutely monstrous in comparison with Israel. They're both bullshit on some level though.

You can't compare the Israel of 1948, 1967 or 1973 to how Israel presents itself today. Courtesy of it's extreme rightwing coalition. Apart from 1956 when even the USA took a stance against Israel, the country was only defending itself. Now that is up for debate. In previous decades it wasn't.

I compared them in more ways than one. I also said that ISIS is absolutely monstrous in comparison. I just also disagree with the premise behind setting up the Israeli state and our consistent defense of them over the years as a given. I don't think the two are all alike, even if I dislike both of them for entirely different reasons. I'm not about to worry about Israel putting my head on a spike, for instance.

Then you should look up that premise and all the things that went wrong on the way. It should have been a two state solution right from the start. But because of many factors, one of them the brits cutting and running before the negotiations were complete, it didn't come to that.
