So, depending on the result of Monday Night Football, we have two scenarios:
1) If the Eagles win, both The Gentleman Bastard and Crossless1 will have 14 - 2 records on the week, tying the "best overall week record" which is currently held by Rubber Ducky (Brian's Mom) from Week 3 of this current season.
2) The more interesting scenario though (sorry The Gentleman Bastard) is if the Packers win, since that will give Crossless1 a 15 - 1 record on the week and he will snatch the "best overall week record" from Rubber Ducky (Brian's Mom).

I have to admit, even though I picked the Eagles, part of me wants to see someone get 15 - 1.

Nice to know you all generally picked the Broncos over the Chiefs! It was an awesome game, mostly a battle of wills and Defense that reminded me of Gladiators knashing their teeth at one another and there was losts of awesome special plays on the Broncos end! But, the very last second (one second left I shit you not) the Chiefs caught up and it went into overtime! Then the Broncos kicked and we all held our breaths. Nope. Then the Chiefs kicked and I couldn't beLieve what I saw! The dude kicked the ball into the POLE and it bounced inside!
It was totally silent in the room until I started laughing hysterically as did we all! You can't.. Be mad at that! It was a damn great game!!!
The Broncos got Bronco'd by the Chiefs!
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

I went to bed at halftime. I'm not a big fan of defensive battles, though it sounds like it was a good game.

I dunno about that. I was quite put out with Kubiak (little Shanahan) and his pathetic coaching decisions. Punt returner muffs a punt and costs you 9 points? No problem. Just trot him out there and let him cost you excellent field position and a scoring opportunity. Then keep trotting him out there... Then there was the pathetic 62-yard OT FG attempt. We also can't forget his feeble "pound it 'til they're dead" (our RBs, not their defense) running game, behind a line that can't run-block. No one here will earn it this week so I move we grant Kubiak the "What were they thinking" award for week 11.
Kubiak had a decade to prove himself as a head coach in Houston and failed. The league has passed him by (like it did Shanahan) and he's too stubborn to see it. The defense is the only reason we're 7-4 instead of 4-7 and the only reason we won the Superbowl last year. Now were in for another round of the post-superbowl Shanahan era. 9-7 to 11-5, maybe squeaking into the playoffs as a wild card only to get bounced, one and done. Wash, rinse, repeat. Hopefully, Elway won't make the same mistake Bowlen made and stick with mediocrity for a decade before pulling the plug because of a long past Superbowl win.

No worries. I'm thrilled not to have wasted another week on mediocrity. Still, I would like to get that last win.
14-10 Green bay at the half. Looks like another close one.

Yeah, well it was a 4 point game at the half and ten game this week were decided by a TD or less. Can you blame me for thinking this would be another?
Congrats Crossless!
