Is there a template better suited for small screens like the Blackberry? Preferably with less imagery too.

http://atheistforums.org/archive should work. It's basically a text-based version of the site, although I think it lacks some features.
I might be able to find something better...
Problem is you cant post with the archive. Apart from that it would be great.

Can you try going to: http://atheistforums.org/cell/ on your mobile browser. The plugin says it works with mobile devices and allows for posting, but I haven't got any that can handle it (Android prefers the default page).
The screen stays blank on my Blackberry.
